The Problem: So we are not speaking about dancing but we are talking about music.  All computing devices—laptops, smartphones, Network Attached Storage devices (NAS drives), media servers, etc.—inherently generate a significant amount of noise and parasitic resonances. Additionally, computers contribute a considerable amount of RFI and EMI pollution onto the signal paths—all of which can easily find its way onto your USB cables and into your audio system. This noise and interference has many negative effects. Noise-compromised digital circuitry increases jitter and packet errors, resulting in distortion that causes a comparatively flat and irritating sound. Noise-compromised analog circuitry also damages the sound’s depth, warmth and resolution.

So what does the Audio Quest Jitterbug do?

  • Reduces the noise and ringing that plague both the data and power lines of USB ports
  • Measurably reduces jitter and packet errors
  • Improves dynamic contrast, warmth and resolution

Ergonomics: Removing the Barriers between Listener and Music

introducing the NEW AudioQuest Nighthawk headphone Headhone.NightHawk is an around-the-ear, semi-open headphone—AudioQuest’s full-bore assault on both the state of the headphone art and on the limits to which quality, innovation, and sustainability can be achieved at an affordable cost. NightHawk's earcups are made from a revolutionary new material known as “Liquid Wood”—actual wood that has been combined with reclaimed plant fiber, heated, liquefied, and processed in such a way that it can be injection molded. The use of Liquid Wood shapes the earcups to more closely resemble the human ear, thereby providing a more complete and comfortable fit, reducing stress on the listener’s head and ears. And, unlike typical plastic, Liquid Wood is environmentally friendly—more than merely beautiful to behold, it is also sustainable.  NightHawk's design elements are successfully implemented in today’s most innovative loudspeakers, but have rarely been used in headphones. Auditioning hte Nighthawk will make you change the way or listening to headphones. Please come and listen for yourself!
